Which Crosshairs Are Free and Which Are Premium
RIP Reticle ships with fifteen preset crosshairs. Three are free and the rest are Premium.
The three free ones are the green set
Green Plus, Green X-Shape and Green Dot. One of each shape, so you can try all three styles rather than three versions of the same thing.
The full set
Each of the three shapes comes in five colours: red, cyan, green, yellow and white.
- Plus, in all five colours
- X-Shape, in all five colours
- Dot, in all five colours
Why green
Green stands out against most game environments and is the most commonly chosen colour by players who have tried them all. It seemed the fairest set to give away.
Using a free crosshair
1
Open Library in the sidebar
2
Click one of the green crosshairs to turn it on
Only one is active at a time.
3
Set a hotkey on the Keybinds page so you can switch or hide it in game
If you click a locked one
The app tells you it is Premium rather than pretending to apply it. Nothing breaks and nothing changes.
Custom crosshairs
Designing your own is part of a paid RIP Reticle licence. If you bought one, the editor gives you full control over shape, size, thickness, opacity and outline.
