The Apps Page: Installing Software and the Uninstaller

The Apps page lists common software you can install in a few taps, plus a tool for removing what you no longer want. It is free to use.

What is in there

Around seventy applications across browsers, gaming, communication, productivity, development, multimedia, utilities and security. Each shows its size and, where relevant, its version.

Installing

1

Open Apps in the sidebar and find what you want, by search or by category

2

Tap Install

It downloads and installs without you clicking through a setup wizard.
3

Anything already on your PC is marked as Installed rather than offered again

Where the software comes from

Each application is fetched from its own maker. We are not repackaging anything or adding anything to it, and we do not bundle extras alongside what you asked for.

Check Updates

This checks the applications you installed this way and offers newer versions where they exist. It is a convenience rather than a full system updater.

The Uninstaller

This lists what is installed on your PC and removes it. It is more thorough than the standard Windows list, which is the point, but that also means you can remove something you needed. Read what you are removing.

RIP Reticle appears here too

If you own RIP Reticle, its card on the Apps page installs the latest build for you. You can also get it from Downloads in My Account on our website. RIP Reticle is a separate product with its own licence and is no longer sold.

If an install fails

Usually the maker changed their download, or your security software blocked it. Try downloading that application from its own site, and tell us which one failed so we can repair the entry.
