What Is RIP Reticle? Custom Crosshairs and a True FPS Counter
RIP Reticle is a companion app for competitive players. It gives you two things that games either do not offer or do badly, plus a few extras.
Custom crosshairs
A crosshair overlay that draws on top of whatever game you are playing and stays perfectly centred. There are 15 ready made crosshairs and you can design your own, with control over shape, line width and height, centre dot size, outline thickness, colour and opacity. It works in games that give you no crosshair options at all.
A true FPS counter. An overlay showing your real frame rate, 1 per cent lows, a frame time graph and live hardware stats, anywhere on screen. It measures frames actually presented to your display, which is why it can show 1 per cent lows and frame time rather than just an average number.
Also included
A community gallery of crosshairs published by other players, share codes so you can send a crosshair to a friend, cloud backup of your crosshairs, hotkeys to switch crosshairs mid game, and a system specs viewer.
What RIP Reticle is not
It does not aim for you. It does not read or modify any game. It draws an overlay on your screen and reads frame timing information, in the same way a recording or streaming overlay does.
RIP Reticle is a separate app from RIP Tweaks with its own licence. If you want PC optimization, that is RIP Tweaks.
