How to Create a RIP Tweaks Account

You need a free account to use RIP Tweaks properly. It takes under a minute, it costs nothing, and it is what your tweaks and any purchase are attached to.

Where to make one

On our website, or from the sign in screen inside the app. Both create the same account, so use whichever is in front of you.

Enter an email address you actually use

Receipts, password resets and anything to do with your licence go there.

Pick a password and confirm it

Ten tweaks you can apply, which stay applied
Your settings and applied tweaks remembered across restarts
Somewhere for a purchase to land if you ever upgrade

Without an account you can still use the app as a guest, with five tweaks instead of ten.

Use one account, not several

Your licence attaches to the account you check out with. If you buy on one email and sign in to the app with another, the app will correctly tell you that account has no licence. Picking one email and sticking to it avoids the single most common support problem we see.

If the account will not create

If nothing happens when you submit, or you are told the account already exists, it may already have been made. Try a password reset on that email before creating another one, and send us a message from the support bubble at the bottom right if you are stuck.
