Using RIP Tweaks Without an Account

You can use RIP Tweaks without making an account. It is there so you can see whether the app does anything for you before handing over an email address.

What you get as a guest

Five tweaks you can apply, from the free tweaks. Everything else works normally, including Specs, Backups and the Fixes page.

What you do not get

Your applied tweaks are not attached to anything, so they do not follow you to another PC, and there is nowhere for a purchase to land.

Guest compared with a free account

Free account: ten tweaks, settings remembered, ready if you ever upgrade

A free account costs nothing, so the only reason to stay a guest is if you would rather not give an email address yet.

Moving from guest to an account

Create an account and sign in. The tweaks you already applied stay applied on your PC, because they are real Windows settings rather than something the app holds. Your allowance becomes the free account allowance.

Premium features as a guest

Premium tweaks are locked for guests, the same as for free accounts. A licence has to attach to an account, so buying while signed out is not possible.

Make a restore point first

This matters more as a guest, because there is no account holding a record of what you did. Open Backups and create a restore point before you apply anything.
