Using RIP Tweaks on a Second PC

Your licence activates on one PC at a time. You can move it between machines, but it does not run on two at once.

If you want to move it

1

On the old PC, sign out of the app

This releases the link without costing you anything.
2

Install the app on the new PC

3

Sign in with the same account

It activates there.

If the old PC is gone

You do not need access to it. Reset the device link from your account on our website, then sign in on the new machine. Active Premium includes one free reset per year.

If you want it on two PCs at once

That needs a second licence. A desktop and a laptop are two machines, even if only you use both.

The free tier on a second PC

You can install the app on as many PCs as you like and use the free tier on each. The limit is on the Premium licence, not on the app.

Big hardware changes count as a new PC

Replacing your motherboard, processor or main drive can look like a different machine to the licence check. Adding memory, swapping a graphics card or plugging in a monitor usually does not.

Do your tweaks come with you

No. Tweaks are settings on the PC where you applied them, so a new machine starts fresh. Your account, licence and settings come with you, the Windows changes do not.
