The Specs Page and Expert Mode
Specs shows you what is actually in your PC. It is free, it changes nothing, and it is the right place to start when you are trying to work out whether a problem is settings or hardware.
What it shows
- Your processor, graphics card and memory, with live usage and temperature
- Your drives, their type and their health
- Your Windows version and build
- Your motherboard and firmware details
Expert mode
Expert mode goes further and shows the detailed readings underneath. It is aimed at people who already know what they are looking at, and nothing in it changes anything.
Why this page matters
Most disappointment with any optimizer comes from expecting software to fix a hardware limit. Looking here first tells you which one you have. If your memory is at ninety per cent before you open a game, no tweak solves that.
Checking before you buy anything
Before buying Premium or new parts, look here. Knowing whether your drive is mechanical or solid state, and how much memory you have, changes what is worth doing.
Sharing your specs with us
If you contact us about performance, telling us what this page says saves a lot of back and forth. A screenshot is fine.
If a reading looks wrong
Some sensors are not exposed by every motherboard, so a missing temperature usually means your hardware does not report it rather than that something is broken. If a figure is clearly nonsense, tell us your model and we will look at it.
