The App Starts but No Window Appears
You launch RIP Tweaks, something happens, and no window shows up. The program is running but you cannot see it. Here is how to get it back.
Check the tray first
The app can minimise to the tray near your clock rather than closing. Click the arrow to show hidden icons and look for ours. Clicking it brings the window back.
If it is not in the tray
Open Task Manager and check whether RIP Tweaks is listed
End it there, then launch it again
If it comes back with no window, restart your PC and try once more
If it still will not show, reinstall the current version over the top
The window is off screen
If you previously used a second monitor that is now disconnected, the window may be positioned on a screen that no longer exists. Reconnecting that monitor, or changing your display arrangement, brings it back into view.
If it opens then closes immediately
That is a different problem. It usually means the app is failing during startup, and the most common cause is security software stopping it. Check for a blocked item and allow it.
Recent Windows builds
We have seen this specifically on some newer Windows builds. If you are on a very recent update and this started right after it, tell us your Windows version. That detail matters and we are actively tracking it.
What to send us
Whether it appears in Task Manager, your Windows version, and whether it worked before. Send us a message from the support bubble at the bottom right with those three things.
