Track every update, fix, and improvement to RIP Tweaks.

Version 6.3

October 22, 2026

New

  • A new look on every page: one clear card at the top of each page, with its own colour, and the same card style everywhere.
  • Giveaways in the app: when a RIP Tweaks giveaway starts on our Discord, the app tells you with a notification and a short popup showing how to join.
  • Home shows a RIP Tweaks Premium banner on the right for free users.
  • Games shows the game you played last at the top, with a Start a game list to launch any game with our tweaks in one click.
  • Two new tweaks while a game runs: Max Timer Resolution for lower input lag, and Standby Memory Cleaner, which frees cached memory when RAM runs low.
  • New CPU tweak for every processor: Disable Windows Hypervisor, for more FPS when Windows features keep the hypervisor running.
  • New for Ryzen X3D processors with two core groups: Prefer 3D V-Cache Cores, so games start on the cache cores.
  • The CPU page also shows Core Unparking, C-States and Power Throttling, the same tweaks as on the Power page.
  • Restart to BIOS: one button on the BIOS Settings guide restarts your PC straight into the BIOS.
  • Drives lists every drive in your PC with its type, size and speed, an Optimize button, and only the tweaks that fit that drive.

Changed

  • Pages open instantly: pages you opened before stay ready, and the most used ones are prepared in the background.
  • CPU, GPU and the BIOS guide show the parts in your PC and only the tweaks made for them. Other brands can still be viewed, but not applied by mistake.
  • No more search bars: every page filters with category chips in its top card, and every chip has its own icon.
  • Free Tweaks now has three quick tasks: subscribe, like and comment on our latest video, and join and boost our Discord.
  • The welcome questions and the disclaimer only show the first time you use RIP Tweaks on a PC, not every time you sign in.
  • The "Thank you for your purchase" screen shows once, right after you buy, and waits until the welcome questions are done.
  • Debloat shows how far Basic and Advanced cut background processes and what each one removes.
  • Power: the RIP Power Plan is now the RIP Gaming Power Plan, and Ultimate Power Saving sits in its own Battery Saving section so it is never mistaken for a performance tweak.
  • The RIP Gaming Power Plan lets the CPU slow down when nothing runs, so laptops stay cool and quiet at idle while games still get full speed.
  • Optimize RAM is now free, opens as a full page and picks your installed memory size by itself.
  • BIOS fits on one page: the BIOS tweaks and the BIOS settings guide as two clear steps.
  • Input Lag puts Reduce Input Lag on top, then your mouse and keyboard, then the drivers with the Polling Rate Optimizer.
  • Network puts the Bufferbloat Test with its two options in its own section at the bottom.
  • Cleanup has one summary bar with Clean Now and Smart Cleanup, and cleaned items show 0 right away.
  • The game launch window shows the game's art and your estimated FPS, with NVIDIA Profile and Game Files buttons.
  • SSD Retrim was removed from Drives.
  • A maximized window keeps the normal size and uses the extra space instead of scaling everything up.
  • The Customization page has a new look and no longer shows the tray arrow banner.

Fixes

  • Games did not start while recording mode was on.
  • Games started from their own launcher (such as VALORANT through the Riot Client) could fail to open.
  • The Back button in NVIDIA Profile Inspector now goes back, and the X closes it.
  • Game covers no longer flash two letters before the art appears.
  • Some tweak cards showed no icon.
  • The sidebar closes right away when you open Settings or another popup from it.
  • The blue marker in the sidebar glides smoothly to any page, however far.
  • The app no longer shows an empty window frame for a moment when it opens.
  • The Fixes page scrolls smoothly from the first second.
  • Backups now shows an error when Windows cannot list restore points, and tells you when Windows skipped creating one.
  • The Upgrade to Premium button on Home no longer stretches with short names or drops below long names.
  • After you log out, the sign-in form no longer shows the details you typed before.
