Changing the Language in RIP Tweaks and on Our Site

RIP Tweaks, our website and our support are all available in eight languages: English, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Russian, Serbian and Arabic.

In the app

Open Settings in the sidebar and pick your language. It changes straight away and is remembered, so you only do this once.

On the website

Use the language picker in the header or the footer. Every page, including these support articles, has a version in each language.

In support

Write to us in your own language. You will get an answer in the same language, and you do not need to apologise for your English first.

The app picked the wrong language

On first run the app follows your Windows language. If that is not the language you want, change it in Settings and it will stay changed. This is also why the app may open in a different language from the one your browser uses on our site, because the two are set separately.

Arabic and right to left

Arabic is laid out right to left throughout, in the app and on the site, rather than being Arabic text sitting in a left to right layout. Menus, buttons and reading order all mirror properly.

Does the language affect anything else

No. Every feature, tweak and price is identical in every language. It changes what you read and nothing about what the app does.

Screenshots in these articles

Where a support article shows a picture of the app, that picture is in your language too, so what you see on the page matches what is in front of you.

If something is still in English

If you find a screen or a page that has not been translated, that is a gap on our side rather than something you have set wrongly. Tell us which screen it is and we will fix it. Those reports are genuinely useful because we cannot see every screen in every language ourselves.
